I enjoy making dips, sauces, salsas, dressings, etc. They are so versatile; all of them are easily adjustable and ready in 5 minutes or less!
I will present you my favorites, and this list will probably be updated from time to time since I love experimenting with dips and sauces.
These dips can be a light snack or a part of the meal. For me, more often than not, they are complete breakfast. Whenever I have guests over, I whip a few of them up and serve either as starters or snacks with some cheese chips, low-carb crackers, pork rinds or bacon.
All the recipes I am sharing in this post are for cold dips and sauces. I have recipes for a few delicious warm dips, but I’ll leave them for another post.
If you want to turn them into dressings, you need to add some olive oil, vinegar, lemon juice or something similar to liquefy it.
In the grilled pepper dip you can replace one sweet pepper for a combination of 1 chili pepper and 1/2 of sweet pepper. In the same recipe, you can substitute sour cream with cream cheese, but you’ll get a slightly thicker dip.
Another awesome dip to try, which takes slightly more time to make, is my Baba Ganoush. If you like oriental cuisine, and you are a fan of hummus, you will love this dip.
